About the Design

This bracelet was not designed around a single material. It was built from many — each one chosen for what it is, placed in a sequence that rewards close attention.
At the front of the strand, a single six-eye dzi bead anchors the piece — cylindrical, aged, its dark surface carrying three cream-white eye motifs in the pattern specific to this form within the Tibetan dzi tradition. The surface is unrestored, worn to the depth that only time and handling produce.
The remaining beads move through the full tonal range from deep black to warm gold: ebony rounds in true matte black, obsidian spheres polished to a high gloss, Czech glass in deep charcoal with faint iridescence, Super Seven matrix rounds with multiple mineral inclusions visible through the surface, green dragon gold with gold-toned veining, gold sandstone catching light from within, and tiger’s eye in deep amber — its chatoyancy shifting as the bracelet turns on the wrist.
Every material here has a different surface, a different weight, a different way of holding light. Together they read as a single dark, warm, complex object.
